Motown/R&B/Soul vocal band
The Pasadenas had a unique sound for their era as their
vocal style was a collaboration of the 1950’s,
shoop-shoop, 1960’s Motown and 1970’s funk.
The Pasadenas were formed by the Milliner twins, David
and Michael and also consisted of Andrew Banfield, Hammish
Seelochan and Aaron Brown and were originally a dance
troupe called Finesse. They all contributed to the song
writing, arrangement and production of all new material
and their classic covers. In 1988 they released their
debut single ‘Tribute (Right On)’, which
proved to be their biggest selling single peaking at
No 5 in the British charts. They followed it up with
‘Riding On A Train’ (1988), which peaked
at No 13 in the British singles chart. They then released
their debut album ‘To Whom It May Concern’
(1988), which proved to be their biggest selling, peaking
at No 3 in the British charts. It sold in an excess
of 1 million copies. They ended the year with one last
single ‘Enchanted Lady’ (1988), which peaked
at No 31.
