Keedie is twenty two years old and hails from Wolverhampton, people have described Keedie as a ‘little stick of dynamite’! At 5ft tall and slim build it’s hard to believe that such a powerful sound can emanate from such a small girl.
Keedie like millions kids in the UK attended a normal comprehensive school in Paignton Devon, she still lives there with her 5 brothers and sisters, plus mum dad and various pets ! Keedie doesn’t fit the normal idea of a classical singer and it was only around 6 years ago that she even attempted classical singing, up until then it was all pop songs, but a suggestion by mum to sing Time to say goodbye to help with breathing soon changed Keedie’s life forever.
Since then she has secured a record deal with EMI, reached number 2 in the pop charts when she dueted with Duncan from Blue on Andrew Lloyd Webbers, The woman in White, and has just returned from LA after singing at the premier of Andy Garcia’s latest movie.Keedie is currently recording her new album and is about to record a song especially written for her by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Tim Rice, their first collaboration since Evita some thirty years ago ! the album will also feature songs from Dianne warren who has written some of the most memorable pop songs of our lifetime ( Whitney Houston , Celine dion ) Keedie has a unique talent that you just can not believe comes out of this tiny body, the juxtaposition is amazing, when Keedie walks Out and sings Nessum Dorma, if it’s a football stadium or a posh dinner the whole place just erupts! Keedie is about to enter the premiership of classical singers, watch this space!
